The 5 P’s of Accomplishing Godly Goals

There are many models that claim to navigate people to success and completion of their goals. But here, we take a look at a Spiritual model whose goal is to assist in molding the inner and outer person in Christ Jesus.

Join us as we explore this list!

  1. Pray (Psalm 145:18; Philippians 4:6-7; Colossians 4:2)

Prayer prepares the Christian to not only accomplish Godly goals, but first and foremost ascertain Godly goals to strive for.

It is communication between God that not only forms transactive dialogue, but prepares the heart to ultimately prepare to pursue.

  1. Prepare (Proverbs 24:27; Ephesians 6:15; Philippians 4:8)

Blanketed in God’s peace, we now prepare to meet these goals by filling ourselves with the good things of God and things necessary to accomplish goals in a timely manner.

Preparation requires a good, Godly headspace and establishing a foundation for success.

  1. Practice (Proverbs 12:1; Philippians 4:9; 2 Timothy 2:15)

Good practice requires knowledge (Godly knowledge) and corrective practices that align you to ultimately move in step with God’s higher calling for your life. This requires right division of the Word for a complete and Godly walk.

  1. Patience (Psalm 27:14; Galatians 5:22; Philippians 4:11)

Most goals worth setting do not occur instantaneously overnight. It involves a continuous reproval process that molds the inner and outer man to abound in more wisdom and knowledge.

  1. Praise (Isaiah 25:1; Philippians 4:10; Jude 25)

This proponent truly does not belong to only one portion of this grand formula. In fact, they all overlap! Praise should be a lifestyle, for God is worthy and nothing sincere can be accomplished without Him.

As you complete your goal; however, be sure to understand the source and strength by which you made it. Jesus Christ!

God bless!
