Infinite God, nothing outlasts your throne. 

Through times past, but now, and ages to come,

You preserve the gathered righteous alum.

By Your sure Word, the hungry soul You hone. 

Bewildered, I live to make Your name known.

To Thy Gospel I willingly succumb.

Sanctified under the cloud of Your thumb. 

Understanding the will that You have shown. 

What is man that You are mindful of him?

How could your Spirit devise to save me?

What on Earth could deserve your sacred gaze? 

Questions with answers, too bright for me dim.

Necessary rebuttals evident in Scripture I see,

Faith leads to hope of glory, Christ ablaze.
