Extend Your Arm

Lord. Extend Your arm and hold me back when I seek the superficial elements of the world over the breadth of Your truth.

Dear Lord, I know that entire churches and entities are founded on subjects that mean nothing (Colossians 2:8).

I do not want to waste time. I want to redeem it because the days are evil (Ephesians 5:15-17). Redeemed times will bring redeemed souls and I want to be a needle on the clock which ticks.

Please God center me as a dial that does not unhinge. As a fulcrum to an arm of a sundial as You are the Son. Guard me from the superficial and bring me to the authentic. I only desire the richness of Your Word (2 Timothy 3:16).

Amen.
