It is a passion of mine to find new and innovative ways of illustrating the same, powerful Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Sometimes my approaches involve science. Other times, I will refer to history. Still yet, I have also found ways to incorporate everyday mundane things such as cooking or a doctor’s visit.
However, today I appeal to the science and artistic qualities of chemistry. Journey back with me to your high school chemistry course and recall your emotions as an equation such as the one below brought to you:
6CO2 + 6H2O → C6H12O6 + 6O2 + 6H2O

Struggling, to say the least. Life hinges on the reality of this equation and the subsequent reaction in nature.
Nonetheless, do not despair. Even if the constants of the world, including plant life, were to fail. There is one equation powerful enough to overcome the detriments. I call it the “Gospel equation”.
The Gospel equation is:
B(1L+3D+1R) → E
In order to solve this equation, we need to know what the property is needed to solve it and what the variables represent. We already have the coefficients (numbers).
Let’s look at the variables first.
B= Belief
L= Life
D= Days
R= Resurrection
E= Eternity
This equation will not work without the variables.
Next, we must look at the property used to solve it. This problem would be solved with the distributive property. Therefore, you distribute belief into the life of Christ (given for you on the Cross), His burial of three days, and His resurrection from the dead.
When belief is distributed into all three of these components, the product is eternity. Those variables combined, change the entire molecular structure of the soul and make a new creation (2 Corinthians 5:17) (or compound to continue the analogy)!
It is a simple equation and frankly, very difficult to get wrong, unless you believe that there is a better way. This is the only equation for eternal life, clearly defined by the perfect textbook-
