Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places,

Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come:” ~ Ephesians 1:20-21

Most people have a place that takes them back to when they were a kid. For some, it is a child hood home. For some, it is a recreational facility. One of these places for me is Pizza Hut.

No, not the new, modern Pizza Hut. The old, authentic Pizza Hut. The one with a vintage aesthetic, a trapezoid top, and the iconic Heaven-sent smell of fresh pizza.

But the one thing I remember the most is the clock. The Pizza Hut clock. An iconic, ever spinning token of cheesy goodness, engraved within announcing, “Its Always Time for Pizza.” It never stopped spinning as a reminder that it is always pizza time.

Likewise, we are always living on Jesus’s time (Ephesians 5:16-17). Every minute and every second is for His glory. The Pizza Time clock did not stop spinning when I left Pizza Hut and Christ’s reign will not end when you, I, or anybody else leave the Earth.

The reign of Christ has been eternal. Jesus reigned before the Earth was made, all throughout history, when He was on Earth, after He took a seat at the right hand of The Father, and far after He steps back on to Earth. Like Pizza Hut, His clock never stops (Psalm 115:3).

Forever He reigns. Its always Jesus time.
