“Don’t gobblefunk around with words.” ~ Roald Dahl
Stop it! Don’t do it.
If you do not speak gobblefunk, stop trying! It sounds like nonsense because it is!
Well, unless you are a 24-foot giant who speaks the language of gobblefunk. If that’s you, I will cut you some slack. Otherwise, zip it!
For those of you who have not the foggiest idea of what words I speak, perhaps, I should admit I may struggle with gobblefunk as well.
Roald Dahl originally made the world aware of gobblefunk in his famous book, The BFG (Big Friendly Giant). Gobblefunk is a language of nonsense spoken by the giant which took logical words and- well… Made them nonsensical.
Don’t do it to your words and please, I beg you, don’t do it with your theology (views of God).
“For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints” (1 Corinthians 14:33).
Before you speak on the holy things of God, it is best to align yourself with what His Word says! Otherwise, your language is just rommytot and you let everyone know you are jumbly and muggled!
I mean your language is just nonsensical, mixed up, and confused.
As a man who enjoys a good scientific reading, I often read of people who find the love of God to be frivolous or of little concern. That is a sad way to live and the ultimate example of a fluent gobblefunk speaker! God loves me and God loves you.
He sent His Son Jesus Christ to this Earth, to carry a sinner’s cross, and die a sinner’s death (which He did not deserve), for the sins of you and I (1 Corinthians 15:3-4)! He rose again and offered a way to ditch our gobblefunk and swigpill lives!
What do you say? Believe His Gospel and let Him make sense of your life.
