A cold drink on a hot day.
That is what we have been needing a lot this summer of 2021.
If you do any activity at all outside, you’ll soon thirst like Samson did after slaying 1000 Philistines (Judges 15:18-19).
Now we may not do it to that extent; however, with the Lord you can have times of refreshment.
Both physically and spiritually.
As Paul was describing his walk and testimony as a good soldier of Christ, some had turned away from him and his doctrine.
Nonetheless, one house he could find refreshment at was the house of Onesiphorus (2 Timothy 1:16).
Saying this, it refreshes the soul to share the living water that only flows from the Throne of God. It is everlasting so you may say the following with Paul.
“That I may come unto you with joy by the will of God, and may with you be refreshed. Now the God of Peace be with you all” (Romans 15:32-33).
